About Me
A mom, an artist, a thinker, an optimist, a writer, a reader, an observer, a traveler in no particular order. The world of interiors, aesthetics, art and creativity (in its myriad forms), has always fascinated me. Though I started my professional career as a web designer, my journey as an artist had begun during my undergrad years. After experimenting with various creative streams, I eventually realised that I got true satisfaction only while playing with colours on a canvas. It is my calling as an abstract painter that is emerging in full, vibrant fashion today. My artistic vision now manifests itself in contemporary abstract acrylic paintings. Today every painting I create springs from a desire to spread more style and positivity in homes and offices. The textured, layered, ambiguous forms in my paintings comprise a recognisable or hidden theme to help my client accomplish whatever he/she is trying to seek.
My interest in 'Positive Art' started because of my father, and deepened after attending Feng Shui/Vaastu workshops and observing its numerous benefits in my life, as well as that of others.
Energy flows where the eye goes.
If that energy from a painting is positive, the flow is positive. If it is negative, the energy goes that way, too.
Unlike most artists, I never use my artwork to express my personal feelings, or as a therapy when I am stressed out. But, I paint only when I am happy and relaxed, and to garner the right energies. Making customised paintings helps me to stay focussed by keeping my clients' desires in mind while painting.
My work incorporates abstract, natural, cultural and traditional elements, resulting in a uniquely contemporary union.
Satisfaction and happiness of my clients has always been my biggest reward and has motivated me to happily continue this unique journey.
